A little disappointed....

As you know with the holiday's coming up. Krispy Kreme has out a glazed pumpkin pie - snack pie. So while at walmart this morning i picked up one to try. And i have to say that i was kind of really disappointed. It wasn't as good as i had thought and hoped. Really disappointing because i really love pumpkin pie. So for me it's not worth it.

Become Anxiously engaged.....

"Great things are brought about and burdens are lightened through the efforts of many hands 'anxiously engaged in a good cause.' Imagine what the millions of Latter-day Saints could accomplish in the world if we functioned like a beehive in our focused, concentrated commitment to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ." —M. Russell Ballard,

Protect the children....

"With the help of the Lord, we can repent and change and be more loving and helpful to children—our own and those around us." —Dallin H. Oaks,

Brethren, We have work to do.....

"As men of the priesthood, we have an essential role to play in society, at home, and in the Church. But we must be men that women can trust, that children can trust, and that God can trust." —D. Todd Christofferson,

Becoming Goodly Parents

"[The] gospel culture, or way of life, comes from the plan of salvation, the commandments of God, and the teachings of living prophets. It is given expression in the way we raise our families and live our individual lives." —L. Tom Perry, "Becoming Goodly Parents

MY RODEO....

So my rodeo has been down for like a month at least because when my love and i was trying to put a radio in it something blew and resulted in the car not starting. OOPS!!! anyhow so things have been crazy and busy with the car lot and us as well. So this afternoon about a half hour ago it was arranged for a tow truck to come down to mesquite from richardson to pick up the rodeo and back up to the car lot to get all well and better and fixed up. I miss my rodeo already.... but, look forward to getting it back and being able to drive my other baby (car) around. I do have my saturn but, it will be good to have the rodeo back working so gas will last longer in the other cars. I think there is pretty much a full tank of gas in the rodeo. I do not have a picture of my rodeo but, here is one that is the same year. I found one online. ***Disclaimer*** this picture i am posting i do not own i am just posting for the purpose of displaying what my rodeo looks like. I DO NOT OWN!!!!
Here is pretty much what mine looks like... it's the same color and style and everything.

Ask the missionaries -- they can help you!!!!

"The decision to serve a mission will shape the spiritual destiny of the missionary, his or her spouse, and their posterity for generations to come. A desire to serve is a natural outcome of one’s conversion, worthiness, and preparation." —Russell M. Nelson,

Inspiration

I will be trying to post daily inspirational thoughts - they are just thoughts to think about. Not meant in anyway to offend in anyway. I hope you enjoy these daily thoughts... "There is nothing mysterious about the principles of the gospel. We have studied them in the scriptures, we have discussed them in Sunday School, and we have heard them from the pulpit many times. These divine principles and values are straightforward and clear; they are beautiful, profound, and powerful; and they can definitely help us to avoid future regrets." —Dieter F. Uchtdorf,

Things to be Greatful for.....

So i know it's not Thanksgiving yet. It's not even November yet. But, i believe that we should be greatful and be expressive and express what we are greatful for all year and all the time and not just in the Fall or at Thanksgiving time. That being said.... What to EXPECT.... When your EXPECTING....

Disclaimer: to my knowledge I'M NOT PREGNANT!!! that being said i want to write about a fun, and cute movie i saw the other night. A movie i rented from redbox. It's called "What to expect when your expecting". it has Jennifer Lopez, and Cameron Diaz in it along with other awesome actors and actresses. Anyhow so this movie is about Jennifer Lopez struggling with fertiity issues and so her and her husband is in the process of adoption., they adopt a baby from Ethiopia. Cameron Diaz is a personal trainer/fitness instructor and such and she is getting ready to film some fitness shows and finds out she's pregnant and expecting and is supposed to be completely done filming before she delivers but, while traveling experiences some preterm labor of sorts and get's put on bedrest and has to stay in Atlanta till she delivers and her boyfriend shows up to take care of her. and Dennis Quaid is in this movie and is married to some 20 or 30 yr old something girl and they get pregnant and are expecting twins while his son and his wife are expecting. And they all are or seem to be well off. It's really fun and sweet. I won't say to much more so you won't know everything that happens. I definately loved this movie and definatley recommend it. IT'S TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Amazing Jakes.....

This last Monday my awesome mom in law, brother in law, myself, and nephew shane and my awesome best friend & Sweetheart Bryan went to Amazing Jakes up in Plano - here in Texas... of course. It's kind of like Chuck E Cheese accept it's for all ages. So you all get the idea of what kind of place it is right ? Anyhow we went because it was Shane's fair day. All the schools down here in texas this time of year when the State fair is going on they all have fair day's which when you have your fair day you get the day off of school (the different school districts have their fair day's and they are all on different days). Anyhow we opted to not go to the fair due to the costs, parking, crowds etc. So we went to Amazing Jakes and had pizza, soda's, drinks desserts (it's a all you can eat buffet). And then played. It was so fun!!! Thank You mom for a fun day. Honey, We were sad you couldn't stay and play with us (Bryan had to go back to work- he came over on his lunch hour- he don't work that far from there).

4 MONTHS....

So I have been married to the love of my life officially for 4 months and 1 day. Has been the best 4 months of my life. Of course we have our up's and down's and that's normal. I wouldn't have it any other way. I am really the lucky one and so very blessed to have a husband who adores, loves, and cherishes me and works so hard to take care of me and us as a couple. I try my very best to be the best wife possible. I always am trying. I can't wait and look forward to eternity and forever with Bryan... Happy Anniversary Sweetie!!!
