This last weekend we had our Family reunion. It's The Family Reunion (on my mom's side) Yes, the Davis Family reunion. The Davis Family is my Grandmother (mom's mom), and her siblings, their children, Grandchildren, etc. So it's my Great Grandparents' Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and in some cases Great- Great Grandchildren (Hope that made sense).
We held the reunion down in Springville up in Hobble Creek Cyn - Kelly's Grove in the Lions Pavillion.
This year was especially special as this was the 50th Year/Anniversary of the reunions! - "Here's to 50 more years and beyond!"
We always have so much fun and i look forward to this reunion every year. This year no different and most importanly because this was the first year back at the reunion since 2011. I was there back in 2011. So it was definately good to be back. We couldn't be at the reunion last year in 2012 as we had just got married a couple of months before and couldn't come back out that soon after because of work.
Anyhow I love my heritage, and family and extended family. I love my great grand parents, grandparents and the families they raised and all my cousins.
We left after Bryan got home from work and after picking up dinner and running a couple of errands we arrived Friday night around 8 PM - even though it is only for the weekend i love being able to be there with my spouse, and around all my family. It is always so much fun. I always am a little sad when it is over because we don't get to see alot of them till the next summer because we all are spread out thru out the country.
Left the digital camera at home so we had to get some single use camera's so when we get those pictures i will post in some fashion the pictures.
