Sharing Your Light

Sharing Your Light

"Do you know how important you are? Every one of you—right now—is valuable and essential in Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation. We have a work to do. We know the truth of the restored gospel. Are we ready to defend that truth? We need to live it; we need to share it. We must stand firm in our faith and lift our voices to proclaim true doctrine."

The Essential Role of Member Missionary Work

The Essential Role of Member Missionary Work

"Member missionary work does not require the development of strategies or gimmicks. It does require faith—real faith and trust in the Lord. It also requires genuine love. The first great commandment is to 'love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. … The second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself' (Matt. 22:37, 39)."

WOW HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG????

The last time I wrote and posted here was June 23rd - yeah 3 days before my birthday. I can't believe I have let over 5 months go by without blogging. But, know I am here.... And I am not EVER giving up on this blog.

so what has happened in that 5 MONTHS ???

well.....

I had one of the best jobs ever. I got hired at Teleperformance (Yes a call center I worked at 10 yrs ago) on a SUPER AWESOME project. The USAA Project- AWESOME PAT, Awesome schedule,  and NO SUNDAY'S, and a project who is member and people and family oriented.  Well when you are in training you have to pass every test you have with 85% or better to be able to continue. 3 weeks into training I "crashed and burned" and did not pass in the end.  So I no longer am working there.

We also during the summer (in august) had our family reunion - it was a little different this year but, so worth it and fun anyhow.

a few weeks later  (at the end of august) we had a early birthday celebration and party here at the house for my mom as her birthday usually falls on labor day weekend.

the 1st weekend of September was my mom's 45th HS reunion- I am so glad I was able to go with her. Over the last 5 - 5 1/2 yrs I have gotten to know and become friends with a lot of her classmates. Even though they all are old enough to be my parents. I love her friends and classmates.

We had a BABY shower for my awesome SISTER IN LAW LINDSAY.... and for her and my brother's cute and super handsome baby boy Daniel.  Me & Lindsay's sister's / & sister in law(S) threw her a super cute and fun baby shower & we went with a sports but, especially a baseball theme. It turned out well. THERE was so much support for LINDSAY and baby Daniel.  And so much love at that shower.

Also Daniel got a lot of super cool & neat stuff as well.

Then on October 8th, 2014 - Daniel James Richhart arrived - he is so cute and it hardly seems like he is almost 3 wks old. But, he is.... LOVE THAT LITTLE BOY!

2 YEARS......

A few weeks ago Bryan and I reached and celebrated 2 years of Marriage. Wow!!!! I can't believe it has been 2 years already since we got married. Where has that time gone ?

So we have been married 2 years.... The past 2 years that we have been married has been the best 2 years of my life. I would not trade it for anything in the world.
In that 2 years we have accomplished a lot....

We have accomplished.....

* Getting Married (HORRAY!!!!)
*Driving back to TEXAS to live (well we did that for about 10 months)

*Move to UTAH (yes that was a random and spontaneous move - we weren't going to move back for a few months or so later than we did (hope that made sense) )

*In September bryan received the melchezidek priesthood and got ordained a Elder (in the LDS Church)

*Mid October (October 13th) we started temple prep classes.  We had class for 7 weeks

* We went through the temple for the 1st time for our endowments and took our own endowments out on February 22, 2014 in the Salt Lake temple. Such a beautiful and special day.   - Thank you to all who came to support us.

*MARCH 29TH, 2014 - Bryan and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the Jordan River LDS temple - we were very fortunate and blessed to be sealed by my brother Jared's mission president  President Grant Pullan - thanks Pres Pullan.  The night before we were sealed we had a celebration with family and friends celebrating our sealing.  Thanks to all who came to celebrate with us and thanks to all who shared our sealing day with us and who was able to come.

* June 9, 2014 - marked 2 years of marriage.  I would not trade Bryan or marriage for anything in the world.  I love being married, being married to bryan and my best friend.  Would not have it any other way.

Going to the Doctor

As many of you may know a month ago I went for the first time to see a OB/GYN Dr Parrett at Intermountain Medical center. The OB/GYN practice at the hospital. I love my doctor.

Anyhow I did not until now have a General/Family practice provider for when I need to go to the doctor for other matters that are not of a Gynecological or Obstetrical nature.

Well I DO NOW!!!! Her name is  Saphu,Pradhan and I have a real good feeling about her. Anyhow so I went to see her as I needed and wanted to establish care and wanted to get some Liver enzymes or a ALT / or ATL (elevated enzyme issue) and concerns addressed.

So here I go.... I am having some blood work done and being asked all the questions they ask. I had blood work done and HOPEFULLY  the blood work comes back NORMALLY and there is not anything seriously wrong with me and that I do not have a MAJOR issue such as Liver cancer or anything.

Ever since I left the doctors office I have been thinking about it and I am completely scared about my blood work results and such. I am worried that ultimately I will get a diagnosis of something serious and MAJOR (CANCER).
And I do not want to DIE!!!! I am just getting my life started with my best friend, my love, my husband.  I do not want Bryan to be alone.  There is so much I have left to do in life and I have so much life to live.  And I just do not want to be in a world or anywhere without Bryan.  I am young and I am not ready to die. The very thought of it scares me.

I have 3 young nieces and nephew and one on the way. I want to be around for this new baby. I want to see my niece Kayla baptized next year, This baby to be born this october, Ashlee baptized in a couple of years and Dakota to be ordained a Deacon when he is 12! if he has that desire and advance all the way through the priesthood and to have a family if it is meant to be. I HAVE ALOT TO DO...

Anyhow I think I am done with my soapbox....

I would appreciate good vibes, thoughts, prayers and everything that things will come out NORMAL and I can be calm.

Moving Day SOON ???? maybe ????

So Bryan and I have been living back up here in Utah for just over a year. Almost 13 months.... We have been living and staying with my mom and dad (the house I grew up in).  Anyhow it has been kind of a busy 13 months but, that is a separate blog post. Anyhow we feel it is time that we move out and spread our wings and get out on our own.  And for the 1st time in almost 3 yrs - we have been together almost 3 yrs and been married almost 2 of those 3 years.

So back in September- October time we went to look at an apartment complex not far from where I was working at the time.  The Crossroads apartments located on and around 2200 W and 3800 South in West Valley City.  Like totally and in walking distance to the valley fair mall, Costco etc. (Super close)....

here is where we hope to move into  http://www.isyourhome.com/crossroads-apartments
